REBELLE RECOVERY stage TRUST AND CONSENT on our healing program  our contest stage. This is a pre-program stage of grandiosity, acceptance by the norm, dissociated happiness, and approval being sort of the guides. Or the stroking of our egos, If during this contest stage parts of the participants believe that they are winning the contest they will stop participating on the journey of recovery before it has even begun. Here they will deny their deepest traumas so intensely that they will fool even themselves into believing they never happened – and that they are already healed and dont need the program. It is for this reason that they have to learn about their dissociative behaviour that mimics recovery. It is here that we idealise the parents, which allows them full unconscious liberty to replicate the worst of their past in our present. Here we do not look beneath our surface, and if fate goes our way, we will never have to. We remain happily distant from the misery lurking inside us.
